Our First Trade Show
February 25, 2009
So, I’ve done trade shows. Everyone has, there’s nothing new there. But there’s nothing like being in a startup company and deciding to drop a small chunk of change (in Green Bay, that’s smaller than, say, San Francisco) on a trade show booth and see who drops by. So, on March 4th, we enter our first trade show…
In order to make this interesting, however, we’re doing something different. In true “thought leadership fashion” our booth is not about giving away chochkees to the trick-or-treaters, but rather, it’s about giving away knowledge. That’s right, knowledge. At the upcoming Green Bay Biz Expo, we’re going to be doing 6 different mini-seminars throughout the day, with each of the delivered twice.
The following are the topics that we’ve chosen to present. Each will be delivered in 15 minute segments every ½ hour from 11am – 4:30pm.
11:00 How Blogging Can Build Your Business
11:30 LinkedIn: How to Raise Your Professional Profile and Build Business
12:00 Social Media 101: What Businesses Need to Know
12:30 Digital Marketing 101: How to Leverage Web 2.0 for Business Growth
1:00 Facebook Essentials: How to Manage your Personal and Professional Profiles
1:30 Search Engine Essentials: Optimization and Marketing for Google
2:00 How Blogging Can Build Your Business
2:30 LinkedIn: How to Raise Your Professional Profile and Build Business
3:00 Social Media 101: What Businesses Need to Know
3:30 Digital Marketing 101: How to Leverage Web 2.0 for Business Growth
4:00 Facebook Essentials: How to Manage your Personal and Professional Profiles
4:30 Search Engine Essentials: Optimization and Marketing for Google
If you’re around Green Bay on March 4th, drop by the Green Bay Business Expo. It’s $5 to get in – a bargain to be sure! We’re in Booths 104 & 105
While you’re there, walk around the corner to the booth for Link Greater Green Bay – the Green Bay LinkedIn meetup group.
