Rockford, IL Social Media Bootcamp – “My Kung Fu Is Stronger Than Your Kung Fu!”

Finally here! I’m thrilled to have been invited to present not one but TWO sessions at the Rockford Social Media Bootcamp on July 24th – 26th, planned by David “Griff” Griffith D.D. Griffith Consulting and Ray Smith and Jennifer Parness at Infinite Horizons Design.
On Friday, I’ll be covering LinkedIn for personal branding and business development. The challenge is taking the full 4 hour version of the course and material and condensing it into an hour while adding in more interaction. There’s got to be a social media tool for that somewhere.
On Saturday morning the conference gets right back at it (actually, it runs until Sunday!) and I’ll be covering the ‘how to’s’ of blogging to be a thought leader. That’s going to be cool! There’s so many tools, so many ideas and again…it all has to fit into an hour.
I’m already met some fine folks from the event on Twitter beforehand and in the room prior to the LinkedIn session. What a wonderful group of fellow social media troopers.
