Next Social Media Breakfast – Tursday, 8/20, Atlas Coffee Mill in Appleton

The next New North Social Media Breakfast will be at the Atlas Coffee Mill in downtown Appleton on Thursday, August 20.

The agenda will include a presentation from Tara Fletcher, Director of Marketing at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and Tiffany Niederwerfer of the History Museum at the Castle in Appleton. They will discuss how their non-profit tourism organizations have been successful implementing social media, specifically touching on:
- how they got started and determined messaging
- how they found time to fit social media into marketing
- how social media has helped overcome limited budgets
- overcoming security issues and employee guidelines
- response from the public
- how their efforts have increased awareness and sales from NE WI residents and beyond
- future plans in social media

The presentation will be followed by questions for Tara and Tiffany, open conversation about social media strategies and tools, and suggestions for next month’s topic.
