Interested in having Dana speak to your group? Here’s the lowdown…
Putting on an event is quite an undertaking (we do many of our own, so we know what you’re going through) and want to create the perfect presentation for you and your organization. This will not be a death-by-PowerPoint boring snoozefests that you’ve all seen but rather a dynamic, engaging, educational and fun presentation that participants can’t wait to share with their colleagues (who will certainly be jealous that they weren’t there too…especially if they’re your competition!). Drop us a line to talk about how we can put together something that will best meet your objectives and wow your crowd.

Pre-Event Questionnaire
It all comes down to details, right? To make sure we can deliver a presentation (at the right location and to the right people) that will be a sure crowd pleaser, please fill out our pre-program questionnaire. Download the RTF version here.
Policies
PAYMENT POLICY
We will send you an invoice for the program fee with the contract. Half of the fee is due upon signing the contract, with the remainder due 30 days prior to the event date unless prior arrangements have been made. If you have specific corporate policies that we need to work with, just let us know. Trust me, we’ve seen it all. The contract must be signed within 15 days of receiving it.
TRAVEL EXPENSES
The hosting venue is responsible for paying for lodging and transportation, either air and/or ground that is involved in our speaking events unless other arrangements have been made. Basically, this includes round-trip airfare and any rental car costs, associated gas fees and a per diem of $50. For your convenience, all travel costs are included in the fee we quote you.
We make air travel arrangements approximately one month prior to the event date, so we can take advantage of the lowest fares. If you have any special flight or travel arrangements that you would like to share with us, please let us know at least 6 weeks before the event.
LODGING
We nearly always come in the day before an event (flying out of Midwest in winter has taught us to be comfortable with flexible, weather induced airline schedules). For overnight stays, we will make any necessary hotel arrangements and always find the best value that’s close to the venue.
INTRODUCTIONS
We will always provide you with an introductory bio so that whomever is introducing Dana will say just the right thing. You can download the long and short versions here in case you need them beforehand. You can also find photos here in both web and high-resolution versions.
EVENT MATERIALS
Each event is different, but we will work with you to ensure that any handouts, workbooks or slide deck handouts are printed and ready to go for event day.
EVENT TECHNOLOGY
We’ve presented in most every condition, including during a power outage. We’re comfortable and able to work with whatever setup you’ve got but generally prefer the following setup:
- Wireless headset or lavalier microphone (second choice: Wireless handheld microphone) if the room warrants it. If it’s a small group setting or a room with exceptional acoustics, we don’t need any audio amplification.
- LCD Projector and Screen (we’ll bring the laptop.)
- An A/V Cart for the Projector and a small side table.
- Flip chart and markers, or a white board and markers. Flip charts are preferred, white boards tend to be hard to transport back to your desk to transcribe all of the notes.
- Oh, and water. Some speakers can go through a gallon of water a day (and you thought those breaks were for the audience).
Dana speaks frequently on the topics of thought leadership marketing, social media marketing and marketing technology trends.
